Plumes of smoke were sent across wet London after a large fire engulged a garden centre close to Heathrow Airport.
The blaze at Ansell Garden Centre on Holloway Lane, Sipson, which broke out just after 4.30pm was attended to by up to 100 firefighters, after authorities were alerted.
After crews discovered fireworks in the vicinity, a cautionary 300m perimeter was put in place to prevent an explosion. The flights to the airport were not affected, and no one has so far been injured, but the cause of the fire is yet unknown.
